7250i Security Code

I bought a phone from ebay and the seller told me that he had reset the factory settings which means that the security code should revert back to 12345. But after entering the pin code i get asked for the security code and 12345 doesn't work. He also gave me the code he has set it to and this doesn't work either. Can anyone advise me about what my options are please?
