Hi Guys, I'm new out here and I wanted to say a big thanks for everyone here. I know this is a great place for sutff about cellphones. Recently I bought a T237 Sony Ericsson and I'm with FIDO. The main reason why I bought a cell was to sms my friends in another country so that's why I took the prepaid plan.

In the beggining, everything was working fine like I sms my friend and he got it like right away right. For the couples past days, I've been sending sms to my friend but he couldn't get them. On my cell, it was written "Message sent" but he didn't get none of them. I think I've changed a setting on my cell by mistake...someone could help me out please?

I mean, Im able to get all the sms my friend sent me but when I'm replying to him...he can't get none of my sms. Do you think it's a server problem, communication problem or I'm pretty sure I've changed a setting on my cell by mistake... please help me out!
Thanks!

this isnt really related to SE ya know ... pls put this in the connectivity section
hmmz

kk since u own an SE phone.

try checking the area / country code prefix ... most likely u din add in or forgot to. for international SMS / text msgs , it should be trouble free, just key in the number and send.

if ya fren dosent get e msg and oyou do , its possible tt the problem lies within his service provider and not you.

route of text msg

your mobile phone ---> your service provider server ( FIDO servers) ---> international communications netwokr --> your friend's service provider --> his cell phone

my bet is tt its lost on ur frens service provider

the most frequent cause

also , contact ur Service operator and check the sms mailbox number . can be found in ur msg settings. should be somewhere there. u might have edited the mailbox number ( mailbox number is sometihng like cellphone number of server)

Some times it could be as easy as turning off your phone and turning it back on. If you can have your friend try that to it might just work! ;)
