i have dropped my phone in the bath. will my insurance cover this if so what will they do about it?

im more than certain their insurance policy will cover you ask Daedalus as he works in the link hes the man to know, but im sure you'll b fine.

brought my gx30 last year from the link, i have insurance on the phone luckily they covered me i pay about £9 a month, they gave me a new one the other day they was really good payed about £25 and had a new one wthin in a wk,

If your on the £7.99 a month insurance then yes, your covered :)

Its actually part of our advertising campaign for it, theres various posters around the store with the most common claims written on them, like "the dog ate my phone" and "i dropped it in my beer" etc etc :)

You'll have to pay £25 excess though, but its still a hell of alot less than household insurances, but thats only if your on contract.

If your on pay as you go (i.e. your not paying monthly for the insurance) then it'll be a £10 excess and yes your still covered.

Rodney, does that mean that you have to get a new number? (cos the phones wet n broke)

What if someone steals ur phone, do you get a new number then?

if ur on pay monthly does that mean that you have to do another 12 months?

My contract is nearly up, and Ive already broken the strap. I fear that If i break it summore, i mite av to get a new sim and new number and new contract :(

I doubt he has to get a new number since he can just switch SIM cards. My uncle dropped his phone in the sink and while the phone was destroyed, the SIM card still works fine, so he just switched it over to his new phone.

Now stealing...I'm sure if you're on contract, then you can just get a replacement SIM from them with the same number and stuff. Pay as you go, now that's a different story...
