Which one travels/throws farther...800 or 1900MHz band? 8th grade science tells us that it is the latter, but what does your knowledge tell you?

I am not in the states so cant compare . We have 900 and 1800 . Here similar in the range of allocation and i find 900 while it penetrates building better ... is more prone to interference and cop outs as compared to 1800. 1800 does not seem to penetrate that well. Coverage is not a issue as blanket coverage is there..

Yes, definitely, higher frequency equals better quality...
