How 2 Convert a .AMR to .MP3 or WAV

Hi, I have a .amr file (voice but would like to convert it to a mp3 or wav so that i can play it on my D500.

I have searched google but to no avail......

what is an .amr file...if you can hear it on your pc then use sound recorder to record it to wave then winamp (with a plugin)to record it to mp3 ...simple

.amr files can be read and played by Real player! Just upload the .amr file to your PC and then just run the file using Real Player, if the plugin is already installed, the file will play.. if not Real Player will download the plugin from the Net. so make sure u are connected to the internet before u play the file! THen as ghost5000 said u can run sound recorder to record it to .wav. It is extremely simple to convert .wav to .mp3! There are many softwares available for conversion! You can search in google!
