help please

good morning boys and girls,
:confused:
after coming back from a OE in japan, my girlfriend and i went to turn on our phones we brought in Japan (which we were told would work when we leave japan) however this is not so, so i was wondering if anyone can help me unlock these phones, as im just going round in circles trying to find info..

we brought 2 X Vodafone Sharp V801SH which we love and it would be great to get em working again

um, my guess is, it's probably LOCKED to vodafone in Japan. The solution is for you to have it unlocked or firmware upgraded for use in Vodafone or in another network in your area.

so how would one goabout getting it unlocked,can i get instructions and the code off the net...we are now in new zealand and our network is vodafone...
