6680, 3g???

oK i know this may sound like a stupid question but i dont know what it is that 3g has to offer ( i am not kiddin) ?
the reason i ask is that i love the new smart phones 6680 & 6681 (dont we all :p ) and i wanted to know what more i can do with the 6680 that i cant with the 6681, especially taking into consideration that i dont keep a phone longer than a year ( i know it sounds like an unreasonably long time for some of you'll) ant in india 3g services arent so far fully been launched. so how is using man's most scarce resource going to be more worth while with 6680 than the 6681.
