6681 or 6630

If you were to choose between the two, which would you pick???

The 6630 has a style reminiscent of my beloved 3650 and it has 3G, albeit without video calling, and most of all is cheaper.

The 6680 has the new desktop feature, PTT (which right now no US GSM carrier offers anyways) and has flash w/ lens cover, as well as 262k screen (but I've heard there's not really a difference from 65k).

Both have basically the same features, like EDGE, MP3 player, hotswap DV RS-MMC, MP camera, etc., etc., etc.

id choose the 6681. i never like the 3650, it was big and fat. the 6630 is good looking, i was plannin on buyin one before the 6681 was announced, but know ill think ill wait for the 6681 because its not so far away and it got the normal candybar shape. not sayin anything bad about the 6630 but id rather have a normal shaped phone with the same or better features.

6681 v 6630..... as the title and poll say, but it would be fairer to have a 6630 vs 6680

of course, 6681. i don't like the roundish design of 6630. 6681 is all new. if you 3g phone then go for the 6680 instead of 6630. although 6630 is branded as a 3g phone, the 6680 has more features of a real 3g phone.

Well, the thing is, I know it may not be an exact match of a comparison, but I'm trying to decide which phone to pick from when I do decide to upgrade. I wouldn't necessarily need 3G capabilities, seeing as how there aren't any in the US currently. And even when it does arrive, I won't have much use for the video calling as most people I know probably wouldn't give a hoot about it. That's why I'm trying to compare the two because they would be more affordable than the 6680...I'm just trying to get some input as to which I should pick.

Well, that's the thing, I may know the differences, but I'd like some second opinions...

BTW, is the 6630 PictBridge enabled like the 6681?

Well, ofcoz there's all kind of answer..
but..
after all I still think 6630 will be better
hmm.. all the problem I saw wit 6630 now is only the mmc problem.. no others.. bt you won't knw wat new problem you will have with the 6681 once it's out..So.. kinda risky to take it..
And.. 6681 got higher color resolution..though so...
that didn't make much different between the 262k and 65k ....and 262k will only drain your battery faster than expected...
And also... the price..
6681 sure will be lot more higher thn 6630. The 2 way cam.. depends if your gonna use the video calling.. well..
For me..I'd made up my mind..
I'll take 6630...

Changeable covers - 6630! If you are paranoid or unlucky.... I am using my 6630 without the original or any other screen protector, and to date I have not a single scratch. Is that luck or a good quality screen cover? Just that if the covers were not changeable, I think that a scratch would have appeared in the first week... :rolleyes:

So the 6681 doesn't have Xpress-on faceplates??? Yeah, i think I have been leaving towards the 6630, because yes I've been wanting flash and the desktop feature...but i think the 6630 is future proof yet inexpensive (in relation to the 6681 anyways)
