Hi All
I have a Question about USB Cable
i buy a new Nokia 6630 and it come with an USB Cable (Nokia type: DKU-2)
a friend tell that this USB Cable will cause some damage to the Phone because the USB Provide Power that enter the Phone, and he recommand that i use the Bluetooth device.
Does it right?

why would that damage the phone? i think he means that the usb cable can be used to charge up the phone, which wouldnt damage the phone, i think

He mean that the power that in the USB will cause damage for the mobile in the future

i dont understand that? why would power from a cable damage the 6630? if it would, then nokia would sell it would they?

Yeah, that's stupid...there's no way for a Nokia DKU-2 to damage the phone because of power exchange. It's a genuine Nokia product...even if it did damage it Nokia would replace your phone. Besides, it's just a connector...you can't charge the phone through the Pop-port hence the separate charger jack!

but u can charge stuff through the usb so where does the power go from the usb when its not needed?

It doesn't go anywhere, it just stays there...like when you leave your charger plugged to the wall but not your phone
