I received an email from my Motorola rep last night, she tells me that the V500 will not be for sale in the United States (I can't understand why.. but will ask. I assume she means through a provider) but that the V600 will be. Further to that she said she will have a demo unit in a couple weeks. That should mesh perfectly with me returning from holiday :)
She also sent a product map for 2003. In the lineup there are/will be the following models:

How about the UMTS Motorola A920?

The 3 Australia website lists it as being available September 2003, and I have received an email confirming this. I'm just worried that it won't eventuate seeing that it has already been delayed a number of times.

I pointed that out to Sean earlier, and I think it may be the road map for America only.

Hey there!

My last post for a week or so as I go off on holiday

This is the worldwide product map as of July 29. The roadmap lists phones by area. It could certainly be an omission or the possibility exists it was bumped. I will try to have it clarified

Thanks guys.

Hopefully they just forgot to put it in. Because seriously, 3 needs some new handsets and I think this is the perfect opportunity for them to attract a heap of new customers. I mean two handsets isn't exactly a great range, and they aren't the best either.

Enjoy your holiday sean :)

I tend to agree - current Three phones leave much to be desired - one can't video call, and the other can only video call for about 30 seconds b4 the battery dies (slight exaggeration... but really, who wants to carry two batteries around just to last out the day?).

Given the impressive features on the E365, I can only hope that the E380 is even better - hopefully for the same impressive price!

I am interested in purchasing either the Motorola MS 200/, which is also known as the V875, or purchasing the StarTAC 2004, and can’t seem to find a reliable retailer. However I also would like to have some assurance that it will configure to my Verizon Wireless account here in the U.S. Please let me know which one of these phones you would recommend, as far as functionality and compatibility with U.S. standards, and where I might find a vender. Do you know anyone who I could contact for this product? I have a few questions below.

1. Does the power supply plug into a U.S. standard plug outlet?

2. Is there synchronization software available so that I can connect my computers MS Outlook schedule and contacts with the phone? I’m using Window and Outlook XP

3. Is there an English language version of these phones and their Sync software, as well as an English manual to operate?

4. Do you have a website, or documentation on your company and products?

4. Could you send me, or email me technical/ feature documentation on these products in English language
