Express Telecom???

I was surfing the web just now, and I just found out CDMA is coming to the Philippines! How does that happen, when the country's like run on GSM??? It's gonna be EV-DO, but guessing from the map it's in Visayas, and it's also going to be on the American Cellular band, 800MHz...how does that work? :confused:

i thought express telecom was dead here in the philippines....i used to see it before on tv as an analog provider.
question: isn't express telecom = extelcom = nextel = imx ???
