ive got a mmc reader but for some reason it doesnt recognise my 6230's mmc. anyone else have this problem....maybe its the reader. my question is what other alternatives are there to get the mp3's onto my 6230 so i can utilise the mp3 player facility....? ive tried the cable dk-u5 but i think it requires windows 2000 or xp....im on windows me.

If the MMC is working on your phone, then your reader is probably faulty. You can pick up cheap (under $10) readers on eBay.
You can transfer files through bluetooth and infrared (slooooooowly), and then save them to the MMC - but I think the file size is limited somewhere between 2MB or 3MB, my transfers time-out when sending files in this size range.
I have a DKU-5 too but have not tried with Windows ME - generally works well on Windows XP.

yeah thats what id heard, bluetooth unreliable for mp3 transfer. the reader recognizes my 7610s RS-MMC but not the 6230s MMC. weird.
thanks for your reply mate.
