Yeah the D720 is my fav as well and it runs Symbian S60. Samsungs new phones look so stylish!

How come when you look at the picture on GSMArena.com it shows the phone with "UMTS" under the screen? Is there a possibility it'll be UMTS or even just EDGE?

UMTS / wcdma is the widespread 3G standard used in most part of the world

in the US and mex networks dun offer UMTS so they offer EDGE a slightly slower network technology.

edge is unlikely , samsung has not made an EDGE capable phone yet if i m not mistaken. though it has released some EV-do phones for verizon

I know what UMTS and EDGE are, I'm just wondering why it's on there if it's not supposed to be capable of it! Besides, I'm looking towards the future...T-Mobile USA'll be debuting EDGE sometime in the near future and in 2007 UMTS...
