Battery Performance in 6630

u guys out dere having e 6630, is there any problems with ur battery performance? my phone can only last for a day. problems with the phone itself or the battery? btw, my firmware is 3.45.110

nope, but shouldnt the phone last fer at least 4 days or sumthing? 1 day of battery life is way too amusing

Series 60 phone never give 4 Days of battery backup! And it all depends on your usage.. Yes if you just charge your battery and do not touch the phone (when the phone is in standby) it will last for about 6 days.. but if you talk for about 4 hours continously the battery will be totallu out too! So if you talk for about 2 hours in a day the battery will be out in the night! If you message the whole day then too the battery will be out in 1 day! If you play mp3z for about 7 hours the batt will go down! So if you do all these i.e talk for sometime, play mpz, play games and message the batt should be down by 1 day!

I message quite often and my battery lasts for 1 1/2 to 2 days depending on my usage!

Suggestion for a better battery life:-

1) Use the vibrator only when needed!
2) Set the display bightness to as low as possible (you should be able to see properly though)
3) Buy a new N-gage QD BL-6C Battery.. your battery will last 20% more
4) Set the light timeout to preferrably 10 seconds.. which means the light will go off within 10 seconds after the phone is idle! You can even set it to 5 Seconds!

also try and reduce the amount of apps in memory. if u are not using a particular app close it instead of leaving it in mem

hey guys , i bought a 6630 after using the 7610 & i found out that the clearence of the camera of the 7610 was better than the one of the 6630 although the 6630 is a 1.3 MP camera & the 7610 is a 1 MP camera , is this true?!

anyone could help?

U got it wrong mate! The camera of 6630 is much better than 7610! The clarity is better! The pictures are much sharper! Although even a VGA camera can give crisp high quality pictures! Whereas sometimes a 2 MP cam cant match the same quality!

ive been using series 60 phones fer a very long time and i know exactly wat im saying. i jez charged my phone tis morning and my phone went dead e nxt morning. all my apps are closed. my 7610 can last soooo much longer den my 6630. wats wif e 6630?!

chun looks like a bummed out battery. I suggest you take it down to the nearest nokia service center and get it checked. Its in warranty you should be able to get a new replacement battery .

Failing which think of getting a blc6 as ive suggested elsewhere. It really helps battery life :)

hey no issues dude.... frustation does creep in... i had the same prob with my 7610 when i had it and nokia gave me the royal run around keeping my fone for 6 days. I eventually got frustated took it back and bought a cheap oem battery that lasted me 4 days on very avg use. Go figure

people have successfully tried the ngage battery in the 6630 and according to them, it really does improve the battery life
