i have heard about them, and also visited there office here.
R there any specific problems that u face or u just don't like the network?
the network is ropey at the best of times but their main downfall is the customer service, its absolutely terrible...
every one of the reps all sound as if they are reading from a script and it's impossible to have a natural conversation with any of them as they are all like robots. im quite sure their training consists of a 5 minute chat in the training room and then they get placed straight onto the shop floor... none of them seem to know what they are talking about.
I dread having to call them as it takes twice the time and effort to sort out any problem than with any other network I have used. It's not just one person it's nearly every single one of them who is bad. I have been with 3 for almost 2 years now and the only time I ever spoke to someone helpful was when I was put through to their Glasgow call centre !
oh and this (taken from another forum) sums them up quite well
Having pondered on 3's disappointing customers service situation, I've come to the conclusion that it is likely poor management that causes the universal disinterest. Having worked for an insurance company where customer service was almost equally as bad as 3's I ask you to examine the following;
Imagine you care about your job and want to please/assist the customers who call you. However, imagine interupting your supervisor/manager who, no doubt, is deeply involved surfing ebay, chatting with their boy/girl friend on the phone, or finding some other waste of time to pass the day, to inform them an irate customer wants to speak to them. Do this a couple of times a day and your career would be measured in weeks or even days (expecially in India where I guess they have less workers rights than we do here). Quickly you'll realise that the alternative would be to fob the customer off as often as possible, cut them off, place them on hold indefinitely etc etc etc. At least this way you still keep your job and pay your bills at the expense of job satisfaction.

I'm a high school student... My father's boss hired me to work in December, selling clothes and paid me minimum wage. That was my first job and the only one so far. Though, for next year I'm planning to work in Dell's Call Center on my summer vacations. I could make quite some money :)
