View Full Version : VERY annoyed with forum arguments.
Just woke up this morning after having a great sleep and logged onto my email whereby i found waiting for me a whole bunch of criticism from Hofo SE fanboys, calling me 'nokia fanboy' and using the age old cheap shot of taking all my comments out of context and making fun of me. This is the first time that this has happened to me so i'm just really annoyed so i thought i'd come to MB to blow off some steam!
THis is why i hate Hofo.. i go into the SE and make a few responses about nokia and SE and the next thing i get hammered with misquoted statements that were taken out of context followed by those DUMBASS smiley faces as if to ridicule me! MAN what is wrong with these ppl!
i'm sure most of you guys have been through this, i just wished it never happened, thats all. :mad:

They are a bunch of knucklesheads for using the term "fanboy" in the first place. You like what you like and thats it. For instance..... I love Sony digi-cams, but I would never buy a cell pphone from them. Why? Just my preference. They have never felt right in my hand. They look AWESOME though, and thats the thing. I have owned tons of electronics and I go for funcitonality you know brother?

I've always wanted to ask people with some insight in electronic gadgets to answer this question : why Sony Cybershots? Arfe they good? or just cos they looked sexy? I've been hoping for Sony tgo launch a real performer, but most of them is quite weird in specs~~ I'm eyeing the Panasonic FZ-3 or FZ-20 but i'm abit reluctant due i have to buy SD cards and currently i have no product at home that uses SD cards, but within Sony's digicam range, there weren't any comparable ones, the V3 is abit of a disspointment, high MPs low optical zooms....

I dont like HoFo at all, alot of the people there have no clue what they talking about and most of them post a couple of times n then never come back. Ignore the people that make stupid comments and call you a fanboy, they're insecure and are just trying to get attention.

dunno about the SE forum at HoFo but the S60 forum really has well-mannered n fun lovin people. If u want a taste of hostility check out the forums at www.ngagegaming.com. They have some of the most arrogant n rude members on the net.... hell, even the moderators get real dirty down there LOL

commedecargons - for me sony is like a cute girlfreind who drives me crazy. I HATE the expensive memory sticks, but I love the weight, balance, size and featrues of the cameras and camcorders. Especially the models with the night-shot, night framing and also the new RGB-E processor they are using, (real imaging chipset) They are now offering multiple memory saving options (CF/MS-PPro) on some of hte high-spec models so they are definately listening to the consumer.
Anyway, Dont want to hijack the thread :) (or is that ho-jack... get it HoFo, ho-jack... hahahaha..... ok that was a stretch)

But in my opinion, Sony's flagship; the F828, is seriously lacking in hardware features and the price is just stupid...... and 7X optical zoom when u're paying MORE THAN $1300?

Man I do know they are so big in size thats why I avoided them its like too big man, and no one really cares over there. I am here since so long and I love it here. And I think I got a good repute too!

sorry for latching onto this thread late... reason why ive come here more often and become more active. the people here are reasonable and dont blow things out of context un-necessarily. hofo is huge and respectable if u are a lurker post regularly god help you

well, i came here to enjoy, reading posts, answering questions, learning; but i never cared about the reputations or whatever.... therefore sometimes i just talk watever i wanted.....soree for those being offended (if any) i like mobileburn cos i'm used to it. Thats it, and of course alot of posters here which i like to hear them out.... :)

I SO agree with u on the S60 forum part. I learnt tonnes about s60 phone there and thats about the only place i'd go to if i ever log into Hofo. It really is a great section of Hofo gotta give it to them for that~

Before I knew him, I always made fun of Howard for having his smiling face everywhere. But now that I know him, it just seems appropriate.
He's a nice guy, and truly is always happy and smiling. Nice to be around.
Me? I'd sooner bite off your head than say hello, so that is why you don't see my photo anywhere....

i hear ya, im too damn lazy to post anywhere else too, plus the crew here are pretty much the most helpful i have encountered, but my opinion on howard is that it pretty much blows goats. i hung out there before i came here...glad i made the change.
