Unlock NEC 525 and use with Verizon

I have a NEC 525 that I bought through AT&T a year ago. But now I am in a contract with Verizon. Is there anyway to unlock the 525 and use it with Verizon service?

AT&T Wireless uses GSM technology and Verizon Wireless uses CDMA. The phones do not use the same type of towers so it can not be used. You will notice that Verizon phones do not have a place for SIM Cards, and you are not given one when you sign up service with Verizon.
