ive owned the gx32. so far I know 512mb works. mini SD shoudl work, just use the adapter, Im not sure, check it first.

i m paying 418 ... but i m trading in the stooooopid 7600 (i pay onli like 168 after trade) .... its really really the most painful phone to type SMS on ... i mean .... the keypad is horredeous ... and this is nokia's first 3G phone ( UMTS support)

i noticed tt nokia has alot of colour phones on its series 40 but the display seems rather weird as in the sense tt the icons / UI dun look nice and are rather dark in general. nokia has this weird "colour schemes " things tt allow u to change e general colour appearance of ya phone but dosent seem to make e phone look nicer

remembering me bashing nokia displays in every related to nokia issues ?

their display colour reproduction tend to be always abit on the dark side ( etc picture display ..) so my suspicion is tt nokia UI is tweaked in such a way as to look very dull / low in colours ..

for e.g look at series 40s and 60s phone ... when u take a pic right ? the picture seems to be always kinda dull ... u dun get any sense of vibrancy / bright colours in the picture ( undersaturated ? --> not too good at camera terminology)

thus , to camoflouge this right , nokia uses a dull UI colour system ... have ya taken a look at their phones lately ?

look at the nk 2600 ( budget colour model) ... great screen but all the colour schemes are like blue , purple , dark colours in general

so is the 7260 ( my cousin has it ... claims it has a great camera ... took one candid shot and i realised its MARGINALLY better than the 6610i camera ( slightly sharper , clearer pics but basically same reso , same fuzziness associated with nearly all nokia VGA cams) and i realised something... the screen could not reproduce vibrant colours

so my cynical self suspects tt nokia phones tend to have a dull UI to camoflouge their inability to repoduce colours vibrantly...

take a look at 6600 if u wan a case in point .. nice screen ( alot of pple would agree with me here ..) but u notice something about the UI ? it lacks yellow and red colour ... the screen looks kinda bland ... then esp when u take pictures / videos ... u cant help feeling tt its abit dim and not vibrant ... really...

i should think the ultimate test would be to get a nokia 6600 to take a picture of two dudes wearing both a yellow and red T shirt and stand side by side... it would come out awful on the nokia screen ....

well personally i felt the pinch of bad pic taking when i went from s700 camera to 6630 camera. can rreally notice the difference for on screen performance, pics were dull and very saturated. i dont think nokia purposely tweak it to look bad, i think its just the crappy colour reproduction..

the colour reproduction is on the LCD screen side i feel ...

As i always say, Nokia is extremely good at marketing. :D
But IMO, S700 takes blue tinted pics too often, and the night mode software is just plain rubbish~~ right?

wrong. nightmode on s700 is very good for a phone, very impressed. and do a search for s700 pics on hofo, they got a whole thread dedicated to it, you will be amazed!
