Hi. I am a new user. I would like to know that, can I use WCDMA phone in the CDMA2000 1X network? Because I would like to purchase the phone seperate from the operator. (Hutchison CAT Wireless Multimedia)

WCDMA is totally different from CDMA2000 1X...WCDMA is based on GSM technology and thus requires a USIM card, which is similar to the GSM SIM card. Basiclaly , WCDMA is the third generation of GSM technology, where as CDMA2000 is the third generation of CDMA. So in answer to your questions, you canNOT use the 6630 on Hutchison CAT. While it may be a 3G phone, WCDMA runs on 2100MHz, where as CDMA2000 is obviously on the 2000MHz, so again that's another incompatibility...
