i've seen some ads along the east bound side of QUEZON ave. saying EUROTEL is coming. can anyone here confirm this. and what does eurotel offer to its consumers??? thanks :D

Is it Eurotel or Express Tel(ecom) because I just heard right now that the latter is coming, and it's gonna be CDMA EV-DO! I can't believe it, and moreover, it's gonna be on the American Cellular band 800MHz! This can't be true...!

Heh...I haven't noticed the signs.

Not good to be on the 800 band... Subscribers will have to change their current phones (if it isn't triband). But who knows, it might work out.

Well, either way, if it is CDMA, they'll have to switch phones anyways, unless they had the CDMA/GSM hybrids like the Samsung A790 (http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/details.php?id=687) Either way, I don't know how Filipinos will be able to stray from their beloved GSM phones...
