Howeya,

Remote unlocking has now become the most common way to unlock your Phone. This is because it is so simple and no data cables are required at all!

All you need to do is type a specially calculated code into the phone! It's that simple!

How does remote unlocking work?

You will need to know the following:

1)The model of your handset (ie Nokia 7210),
2)The handset's specific serial number (IMEI number - 15 digits long)(press *#06#)
3)Which network the handset is locked to !
4)Which country is the handset locked to !

IT IS VERY EASY TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE USING UNLOCK CODES, IN FACT THIS IS HOW THE NETWORKS THEMSELVES UNLOCK HANDSETS!

NOTE: If the code does not work properly the first time (and you are 100% sure you enterd it correctly) - DO NOT re-enter the same code!!!!

Please post your results.

OK I seem to be doing something wrong here coz I when I put a non accepted sim card in my d500 and turn it on it comes up with "network lock" then thats where is doesn't work right... I cant enter the #* only numbers. What am I doing wrong? Please help

D500 Unlock Clip (http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/samsung.htm) Not bad for £25, could sell it on ebay after or offer an unlock service and make your money bad. Might get one seeing that it's the only way to unlock the 2005 D500s

I have a couple questions?
I have a T720 and just wondering if it needs to be unlocked in order to transfer ring tones to it? I am using mobile phone tools. Also, when it is unlocked do i need to lock it back in order to use it?
I am a newbie at this any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I can't see any reason why you can't put ring tones on your phone using phone tools.

I am using v3.1 of phone tools and unless i set it up incorrectly i can not transfer mids over to my phone from my computer....It says "Unsupported format - no conversion possible" and the file that i am transfering over is a .mid

any help would be great

Ok I'm not familiar with the phone, but from an unlocking point of view you should be ok :) .

by ignore error codes does that mean wrong password message?? just got it in the caribbean (locked to digicell) supposed to be unlocked but seems it's not... error code when i insert my att sim...anyway i've heard that you can fry the software by inputting the wrong codes too many times & i'd hate to destroy it after using it so little! :D also is it possible to unlock a Moto V505 locked to ATT remotely? thanks for your help!

Yes Natas - It is possible - Unlocked mine a while ago now.

You need to have specific software (I paid £30 for mine, but willing to pass it on for £6). E-mail me direct at stevemids2000@yahoo.co.uk if you still need it.

You will need to have the original cradle supplied with phone and be running Windows 2000 or later for software to work.

I've looked at several forums and in every one people seem to have the same problem as me - the codes for the sgh a800 do not work. Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? Can this phone be unlocked with a code?

When you try and enter a code without a SIM card, after about 5 characters, the text input becomes "_ _ _" etc. Alternatively, if you put a different SIM card in (ie. one that is locked out), it asks for a password but the unlock codes do not work here either.

have usb cable. have software called " Motorolla_Unlocker.exe) the instructions say

1) Turn Off your phone
2) plug your phone to the PC using your mini usb cable

Hi there

Hi, Use the below code, but has to be completed EXACTLY as it's written:

1. Insert the wrong sim card into the phone, a message saying “wrong sim card” should appear on the screen. You can only make SOS calls at this point.
2. Enter in the phone *#9998*3323#
3. You will now see the option ‘Exit’ on the left side of the phone. Hit the left soft key to exit.
4. Press the “7” key on the key pad. Your phone will now reboot. (Turn off & turn on automatically.)
5. After the phone turns back on it will be unlocked to your sim card in the phone. To finish unlocking the phone do the following steps.
6. Enter *0141#
7. Then hit the call button as if you were calling the above number. A small box saying “Personalized” will now appear.
8. Turn off your phone take off the battery, insert a different sim card than the one that was previously in the phone.
9. When you turn on the phone it will ask you for a “SIM unlock code” this number is “00000000” or 8 zeros.
10. Press OK & now your phone is unlocked to all networks.

I have a few questions. I have a i710 I got last Christmas, it is still hooked up with NEXTEL until the end of the year. I am going to switch to BOOST PREPAID, I was going to purchase a BOOST SIM card but I am wondering if unlocking my phone is going to be a problem. I have transfered ringtones and wallpaper using a USB cable I purchased from eBay.

Will I need to unlock my NEXTEL i710 phone to switch to a BOOST SIM card (I was told boost and nextel are both Sprint companies so I am wondering)?

Can I unlock my phone before the NEXTEL services ends, or will that shut off my NEXTEL service? Or can I run the BOOST SIM card while still hooked up to nextel?

most motorola phones are locked to nextel that have 2 way radio, what you need is a usb cable with the drivers for the cable,a program called iden carrier rss and also a program called super depot 17.
these programs will read your phone and you will be able to change the sub,and the lock.
after installing the program it takes 2 mins to unlock it will unlock i710,i730,i736,i850,i860 and lots more

I have just got accidentally my N343i phone code locked (probably after the 10th time of putting in the incorrect phone code).

If possible, could any one figure it out how can i unlock it?

It used to be locked by Telstra network.

now it is free from networklock but the phone code is turned on the is locked now. I got another phone already, but this one still working, and would be great if it can be unlock, so the natioral resource in this phone could be saved.

You cannot unlock Verizon phones. You can unlock any GSM Motorola phone.
