Ok try this:

Put a non-accepted SIM Card and turn it on. Type *#9998*3323#. Press Exit. You will get a new menu. Select Malloc Fail.

yeh i also have a E715 phone and i tried the *#9998*3323# and it said that 3332 was incorrect is there any other code for this phone

I have found this information everywhere and I have looked into it and checked everything possible in my spare time. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT UNLOCK A SAMSUNG SGH-E317 phone, if you somehow find a way..The cellular service will find out and delete your account..
