I was on the web today and found the NEC 525---It kinda looks like the new Panasonic X70, but the Nec 525 kinda has a kool cursor with a little screen on the outside.

I like the NEC 525. When I first saw the 515 I didn't like it but the 525 is much nicer. Looks really nice. I have heard alot of good things about it. Rumors are that it will be available in the U.S.A on AT&T by this Christmas. If I can't find an unlocked Sharp GX-20 by then I will buy the NEC 525.

To me it seems that the Sharp would be an inferior chioce to the NEC. I have had Sharp products in the pass and they dont seem to hold up.

I tried the GX-10i. I liked it but what I hated about it was that the ir port couldn't be used to transfer files to your computer it could only be used as a modem. I have great things about the GX-20 that is why I would like to buy it but I have seen some pictures of the NEC 525 and did some reading on it and it does seem most impressive.

How is the user interface on American NEC phones? If they are anything like the e606 that I reviewed I would steer clear from them!

I like the look of the new NEC's expecially the 808(?) though I dont know if its cming statewide? Anyone know the OS?

can any one help i just bought an NEC e616v. i is on the 3 service but would like it unlocked for O2 does anyone know how to\do this?
