I've damaged the charging pin on my 6610i to such an extent that its now impossible to charge the battery.
My idea to get round the problem is to buy an older nokia from somewhere like Ebay and use that phone whenever I need to charge my battery. What I'm trying to find out is which older models would be compatible to allow me to do this?

Which pin ? The one in the back of the phone where the battery goes or where the charger goes into ?

The charging block might not be damaged it could be that the charger was pushed into to much a broke the plastic casing inside the phone......a piece of paper would fix that....

Not only has the pin been pushed to one side, it has bent as well. That's what you get for trying to force the wrong connector in. Well it was 4 in the morning and I was rushing trying to get to work. :o
I don't know what a T6 is!!
