design...thats mostly it..
and of course..the 6670 has only 32mb rs-mmc inside it while the 7610 has 64mb...
the 6670 has a straight keypad...usually/targeted for business ppl while the 7610 is stylish..

Am I wrong but ... I think 7610 uses RS-MMC, while 6670 uses DV RS-MMS (Dula Vultage) as 6630, which are not available !

sorry the 6670 has 64 MB Reduced Size Dual Voltage MultiMediaCard (MMC). you can check it once again 6670 (http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,63734,00.html)

the dual voltage one is better than the other one. it consumes less power as i have heared. the only problem with it is its availability which i think it is a matter of time

Does anyone know if it's possible to use 7610 faceplate on the 6670, or vice versa? I ask because the 6670 seems to have more capabilities, but the 7610 has WAY more style. I'm sure there'll be conversion faceplates in the future, but I hate them cause they're usually such cheap quality. Anyone know if the original 7610 and 6670 are interchangeable with each other?

^^^ not possible, someone has tried

another difference is that 6670 reads Word and Excel documents.

I have 6670 and the answer to your question is No! you cant use the faceplate of 7610 on 6670 as you will notice they have different style on keypad but you can change the back casing of 6670 to 7610 and vice versa. I hate the three lower key ( * , 0 , # ) on my 6670 its so hard to press(coz i have big hands hehehe)I choose this phone coz a lot of ppl is already using 7610 and comparing the two, 7610 is a stylish phone and 6670 is a business phone though i think you can install the application of 6670 to 7610 to make it a business phone. so d only difference that i can see is the keypad and i heard about some antivirus on 6670 already installed.(not sure though)

Has anyone here knows a website to download a themes and application for 6670?

i just made a mistake out there. i have checked the 7610's memory card and found it to be the dual voltage one. also i have checked all the reduced size memory cards and found them dual voltage (1.8 volts). so i guess am wrong with this previous thread. it seems that all the reduced size memory cards are dual voltage (they have the model number: MU-1). so i guess there are no difference between the 7610 and the 6670 in terms of memory.

so plz. correct me if you found any mistakes with my thread out here... :o

Interesting... nobody seemed to point out earlier that all rs-mmc were dv? Then why everybody complaining about 6630 mmc not being available? Maybe the newer 6670/7610 coming with dv-rs-mmc tech? I certainly do not remember reading about dv-rs-mmc on 6670 or 7610 earlier.

this is the page of the Nokia 7610 enhancements>>>data.(the page found down at the end of this post).you'll find the memory card given is the dual voltage one (MU-1). the same case of the 6670. so could you explain this. first i didn't know that the 7610 uses the dual voltage rs MMC

(((Note: The inbuilt MultiMediaCard (MMC) reader in Nokia 6630 imaging smartphone functions on 1.8 Volt, and therefore it requires dual voltage MMC (the card can support both 1.8V and 3.0V). Separately sold Nokia branded reduced size MultiMediaCards (MMC) are dual voltage cards)))

this note is found on the following page>>> 6630 specifications (http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,,58711,00.html)

i think this clarifies everything. the RS dual voltage card (supplied by the Nokia) functions on both 1.8 and 3 voltages hence it could be used for all (6630, 7610, 6670). while the 7610 & 6670 could be used with a non dual voltage card, the 6630 works with only the dual voltage one.
