7710 improvements

just had a look at the 7710, I'm trying to think of any
improvements nokia could have made, what do you
suggest?

included a capable mpeg-4/movie player (DivX, XviD, other formats) and maybe a sd-cardslot

providing it with an IR port. and reducing the size a little, even if they have to wait another 6 months. it would be better to be easily carried...

yeah they can sure release 7720 after six months or 1 year with all other improvments and fancy stuff.

Potrait mode like shaheen says so we can use it like p900
hmm..yep mpeg4 media player too..
3d games like psp to play with the d-pad and the soft keys not with da stylus
Does it hav stereo speakers if not a stereo speaker
integrated flash for the cam ;)

i meant before they released any information about it. but now i think its impossible. its on the way man, so its coming within 2 months, you can enjoy it ;)

i think it's early days for the 7710, most of the rections to
it has been very postive. I think nokia will take about 6
months to gauge reaction before deciding on any improvements.
Taking about the keypad, I prefer the touchscreen, and I guess
if it did have a keypad, it would make it even bigger.

Only really useful addition I can think of would be wifi.

IMO, keyboard would make it too big and price would go up (plus would start competing too directly with N9500 from Nokia point of view).

I doubt a new versio will come out to market before end of 2006 at least.

i reckon i will buy the 7710 if htere is a firmware upgrade or software the enables portrait mode.

Definatly a KB. Portrate and landscape support. movie player (though an aftermarket program will probably show up) iR..... hmm, WiFi :)

if the 7710 did have a keypad it would be in direct competition
with the 9500, and why would nokia want that. it's not a clever
thing to do is it.
