nokia 7610 -- help help

problem. please help.-


i cant receve MMS or wap push sms.. my operator said that all 7610 cant do that and i need to updade software. i have.

does anyone has same problems? hao you fix that? what is new softwer number? please help.

what rubbish. Where are you located. There is some minor settings change for wap/mms in 7610 but if you set it properly, of course it works. I tried to do my settings through sms, but somehow I did not know the correct way of doing it, then it would not work. I went to the operator's shop and the guy erased the old settings and put in the new ones including (he claims) advanced ones for 7610/6600 and it is working very well now.

But you should get firmware updated, newer firmware is better and has fixed quite a few things. Remember, phone memory is erased during updating so back up phone if you have any important data on it.

my operators, checked 3 times all settings, and it's correctly but they say that they know about the problem of MMS and i need to upoad new software.

i was wondering if someone has tjat problem or know how to fix it.. i don't want to wait for new software for 5 days and lose all data.


but if a have to..ill go for that, but that's my last choice if you know what i mean. help.

no i don't have hardware and software to do it myself so i'll go to service.

you don't know the solution whitout new software?

I can't think of anything other than a full flash of the new firmware..... :(

You should back-up you files on to a mmc card......

do i need to leave a mmc on service too, because some programs when i bought mobile came installed on the mmc.

do you have flash files for nokia? and software?

do you know how backup sms so i can return it when service is done in the same was as is. i have about 1500 sms.
