I'm having issues using network applications on my 6260 phone. The browser that shipped with it works fine, but other network applications such as Opera or Putty (and some others) refuse to connect. I presume the GPRS connection is successfully established, as the G icon appears on the main screen. I've thought about this being a provider issue, so I tried running ssh on port 80 on my server, but got the same result. Even if they were filtering anything non-http, that still can't explain Opera failing to work.

Is there any setting i have to change in order to allow third party applications to use the GPRS connection? Are applications written for slightly older symbian phones incompatible network-api wise with N6260?

Thanks,
Vlad
