Hi all
My gf may be getting a 6630 in the new year on an O2 contract. I currently have the 7610 on the O2 200 contract. She's being generous and says that she will give me the 6630 and she will take my 7610. We would like to keep our numbers (and tarriffs for that matter) so we were just going to swap the SIM cards round. Could anyone tell me if this will work and/or whether this would be a good thing with the 6630 being a 3G phone? I've no idea of the technology etc behind 3G inc the SIMS etc so sorry if this is a daft question!

TIA

Happy NY to everyone.
Tim

Which o2 contract is she planning on getting, as i called the o2 sales line to see if the 6630 will be available with the online 100 contract any time soon, and they said it isnt on the list of planned phones for them to sell. This means that the only choice really is from other websites selling o2 contracts like phones2udirect.co.uk etc. As far as i know, you should just be able to swap the sims and the phone will recognise that its not a 3g sim.
