The Moto, I would say. It's newer and got more power. And it's linux on it.
the A760 has got a better cam ( pixel wize), EDGE Quad band and usb port.
the P910i has got everything else much better.
symbian OS so many applications, better screen, more powerfull battery, querty keyboard, more internal memory, reliabily and a special feeling only the Pxxx users can understand.

hehehe...... wats dat? :p
My opinion:
The only drawback of the A780 would be the small screen and OS (software availability wise)
Both had almost same specs (albeit the MP on 780's cam)
Interface wise, i would say the A780's looked more attractive
Usability wise, i would say P910 excels here with the Jog and larger screen
Software, Symbian is the answer.
Screen, i do think that the A780 had a better screen, due to the smaller screen and higher resolution. Small screen + higher resolution(240x320) vs Large screen and 208x320
I would say if u wanna give it a try, go for the A780 cos Linux need more users to support it and try it; and thus create a market for open OS softwares from vendors, in the end, it'll give Symbian a good fight and thus benefit both. :D
linux OS on mobile phones is abit to soon in my eyes.
better wait until linux is more know to the public

The OS a phone runs is probably totally irrelevant for most people.

the only advantage of the p910 appears to be that are more apps available at the moment. in addition to the feature list, the a780 has a much more powerful processor in it that effectively means that it it functions at approx 8-10 times faster than the p910. you can estimate the speed from the jbenchmarks here: p901 (http://www.jbenchmark.com/index.html?D=SonyEricsson+P910i&F=D) a780 (http://www.jbenchmark.com/index.html?F=D&D=Motorola%20A780). if you want to get the most out of a PDA, its probably better to go with the p910. for performance, multimedia, and quality, its probably best to go with the a780.

no matter how this poll ended up.... i would say P910's sales might be double of A780's.......

it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, considering that the p910 has been heavily marketed compared to the a780. also, aren't sales of the a780 restricted to certain parts of the world?

My honest opinion is to go for the P910i, its better in terms of ;
The physical keypad, and in built qwerty keyboard
Class 1 Bluetooth
Symbian powered (Applications are abundant)
Sadly it's using MS duo (Still pricey)
Sadly the camera's resolution is still unacceptable for such a great machine
I'm not saying Motorola ain't that great either, Linux on a phone is also great in a way that if you're a programmer you could write your own apps

There's something i wanna explain, i took two pics, one a 1.3MP from S700, another a 0.3MP from K700, take a pic simultaneously of my living room, load it to PC; what i notice is, s700's only slightly better than K700's and they were of different sizes, thats it. And of course, sharper. But i couldnt stand the blue tint.
Therefore my conclusion for P910's camera, low quality but fair resolution, cos we're only viewing pics within the phone. I do hoped it's the K700's 0.3MP unit.
