Best time to buy a mobile phone

This is my first post on mobile burn

I am planning to buy a phone between the range of US $250 and 400. So can someone tell me which phone to go for and the reasons for it. i Would prefer to buy a nokia phone and a smarthpone phone would be great.

I am planning to buy the phone in the first week of January 05. Is this the right time to buy a phone or do u recommend me to wait for somemore time before i buy a phone! I am interested in buying Nokia 7610 but the phone is slightly costly! It costs around $475 here! Very much interested in 6630 but it cost about $600! When is the price of 6630 expected to come down? I am ready to wait for maybe a month or 2 at the max! So it would be good if someone can help me out! I am confused :confused:

Why don't you try getting one on eBay? They're pretty cheap; definitely can't find a phone cheaper anywhere if you pick the right auction. What about the 6260? Or even the Siemens SX1? I know you said only Nokia phones, but the SX1 is the most fully featured Series 60 phone, albeit without the megapixel camera...

You better wait as much as you can before buying a phone! There are so many phones coming up like Nokia 3230, which has 1.3 MP cam, stereo mp3, its a smartphone and the price is gonna be in ur range.. its gonna be around usd 350! Just wait for a month for 2 more! 3230 is gonna be out in the market in Feb 2005! Just wait and watch you will have a lot more options by the end of FEB!
