MMC card trouble

I have a very irritating problem with my 6630: it keeps telling that there is no MMC card inside although there is (the original one).
I take off the card, clean thoroughfully the contacts, reformat it with the external reader/writer (no problem with that), insert it back, push the plastic handle and every now and then it works, may be a few minutes, may be a day.
Sometimes it works again without doing anything
Is it the phone, the MMC, a software bug?

i think you better take it to a nokia care (service centre) and get your phone checked as soon as possible.
this is the first time i have heard such a problem
