whats this firmware do ?

hi guys

today (20-12-2004) i bought a new k700i and the firmware on it is

R2AA003
prgCXC 125821_EU_1_C


and iv been reading about the issues with the battery bar going to red and its a error..

so my question is with my firmware version (as above) does did have that error in it ??? or have i got the latest firmware ??

can someone tell me what errors has this firmware version got..

R2AA03 is the latest version. That battery indicator issue has been fixed in version R2L001 (which is slightly older than your version), so I assume it has been already has that fixed or has been improved in R2AA003.

Hi,

Did you have to revert to the older version to fix that... I have a couple of doubts..

1. How to get the version number of the firmware installed on the mobile..
2. How can we upgrade the firmware. I couldn't find the update from the sonyericcson site
