S700 & Card readers. Are they compatiable?

Hi. Got The S700i on O2 yesterday.

Having problems accessing file I have put on my 128mb Memory stick via a card reader and PC.
The phone tells me that my memory stick has files on it however when I look in file Manager or Media Player none of these files appear.

I tried sending a MP3 via Bluetooth from a Nokia to the S700 and this worked fine and saved to the memory stick. This file appears in file manager and is their to see.

Can I use a card reader to get files on my memory stick and use them with the S700 or not? Or do I have to go and buy a USB Cable and use that and the PC Suite disc?

yes definitely...... but dun right-click the file and click send to mem card. Explore the card.. go to the designated folder and move the song into it.

I selected all my files from a SD memory card folders and then just copied them into the memory stick duo folders. Was this incorrect?

yes..... ur memory card had a special designated folder which the S700 was 'teached' to read songs from.... u have to put them there.
