Well I heard about the Verizon PTT, and there has been equal amounts of predictions, on both sides of the fence (good and bad). I just want to know have any of you guys tested this new technology? (new for Verizon anyway). The things that I have read say that the PTT function is nothing compared to NEXTEL because of the 2-4 second latency, and to a lot of users out there (especially those on the NEXTEL network) find this unacceptable. So what's the deal? Has anyone tested this feature and the V60p? Any quirks besides the obvioulsy mentioned latency discrepancy? Ohhh and I'm a new guy so please be gentle!

According to Verizon, I am "on the waiting list" to get a pair of handsets to demo.
In my experience, that means that they write your name on a piece of paper and then promptly throw it out.
I have never gotten a hold of a device when I had been told I was on the list.

I have one until Friday, I will be returning it. It has that stub antenna and goes out of service whenever I entered a building, it ran my battery down twice in a 10 hour work shift for NO SERVICE.
If they would change the stub antenna for one like the V60i, it may work better. I do live in a small city, but my V60c, and V60i works fine no problems. Not happy with it at all, I have replace the handset twice, same problem.
