dunno if any of you guys know this, but the SE V800 is out. I'm on holiday here in paris, and stopped by F SFR showroom to check ot what they had. To my surprise the SE V800 was on display and being sold. I must say i love the inside of the phone when it's open, the buttons, screen and finish is great, but the outside shell is just plain ugly, ofcourse that doesnt make it a bad phone in any way. I think the price was 450 euros with contract(can't remember). btw the V800 is smaller and thinner than the ugly Z1010.
now, isnt the phone a Vodafone exclusive? how did it end up at F SFR? cuz the V800 had the Vodafone logo on it. Is Vodafone F SFR in paris under a different name?
also, i was surprised to see the Motorola E1000, didnt know it was out since i dont see much about it on the net(let alone reviews), the phone looked great, it's a dual cam 3G phone, the design is very professional looking. it also sports a 262k screen. btw, all the phones were inside glass casing, so i didnt get the chance to try them out.
anyone knows how good Motorola menus are? any idea if the E1000 is a good phone? also, when is the unbranded V800 coming out, and last, can all phones be unlocked, and how?
thanks!
EDIT: is the V800 1.3MP the same as the one in the S700?

sweet, got any links to some reputable reviews?
btw, i did notice it had a smaller screen than the S700. is it a 176x220 screen or 240x320? also, are the menus fast or is it the usuall slow SE menus?
SE needs to get of thier asses and release a series 60 symbian mobile phone.

wat do ya mean a 262k screen couldn't be a 176x220 ?? The 262k is color depth, the 176x220 is screen resolution. ....

well im just saying, colour dept isnt the same as resolution so they have no relationship so 262k colours can be 176x220
yes colour is different from screen resolution

Really, i didnt know there were and PDAs that had VGA resolution. But i guess its no big thing if it looks like a QVGA screen in a cell phone.
