SMS memory on s7001 ----

hey people

isn't there any way to expand the sms memory of the s700i?? i mean, i'm really having a hard time with the limit of just 100 messages... and to think there's 30+ mb memory available on the phone...

well, if not expand, isn't there any available software that i can install on the phone to save my other messages.... :(

sony ericsson, this is a really bad point. :( (not to mention, you can't have sms folders.. ) but that's not really my problem. it's just the memory, that's all.

Well with moto there is a method to do it, so its possible that you can also do it with SE's. Run a search on google.

Is there a way you can save more SMS in a Motorola E398??? I love the phone but didnt buy it because i use SMS' a lot and even 150 seem less!!! Please lemme know how is that possible.... and while you are at it can u also tell me if there is a Radio Headset that can be bought for the E398... Thanx.

Im not entirely sure of the moto E398 but i think its 4th gen so it might be possible. You going to need a usb cable and a hex program. Go to howardforums.com and check the moto forums, they explain how you can do it there.

I think that the 100 SMS includes both the inbox and the outbox, i was bored yesterday and started counting the number of SMS i had when the 95% full message popped out hehe~ and i counted 99SMS...

then the s700 limit must be more than 100, 95% of 100 isnt 99.....

Actually u dun hav to count, there's a way to show all of them , and ur S700 counts it for u. hehehe :D

Ok let me figure this out... 2min for 100 msg... mmmm.... you might be looking up to 800 min or 13 plus hours for 40,000 msgs. :D

not sure bout that but i dun like the fact that it's softwares were totally the same as K700's...... at least should add some functionality in there~~ for example like a repeatable calender or events thingy...... :mad:

yupe, i was once considering S700 b4 i got my P910, but the overall package just ain't seducable enough for me, especially selling at the price of a P900.

and actually the major turn off would be the low memory and contact storage in comparison to the 40MB it had, and the idiotically missed out ability to set repeat the calendar by "Day, Week, Month, Year" Thats it.
