Hi

At the end of the day, all bells and whistles aside, a phone is a phone.

And if your phone has poor RF, what good is it?

Since the k700 doesn't support 850Mhz GSM, how do you guys find the RF to be?

On Howardforums, BengalBoy was very pointed in saying repeatedly (his review of the k700) that the phone has THE BEST RF he has seen.

Is this universal experience?

Especially among ATTWS/Cingular users.

Thanks!

I just purchased the k700i (I am waiting for it to arrive). I was wondering the same thing. It will be interesting to see how people respond. I have been using the Siemens Sl65, which doesn't support 850Mhz GSM and have had a few instances where a call would drop but I am not sure if this was the handset (it's a pre-production model) or the lack of frequency support.
Thanks

I ended up getting a T637 for it's 850 support.

I'll wait it out and late next year, upgrade to the S710a which will also have 850 support.

It's just too bad that SE didn't come out with a 850 version of the k700. Must have lost quite a bit of customers to the Nokia 6230b.
