i just recently bought an s700i...

having used the phone for a couple of days now, i just noticed something.

i took pictures using the phone's camera. but then when i tried to send it through bluetooth (or infrared), the receiving phone (nokia 3650) could not open the image file.

when i tried sending the default wallpaper pictures in the s700i and sent it, the 3650 could open the image file of the wallpaper picture.

it seems that when i send out pictures specifically taken from the phone's camera, it can't be opened by the 3650.... :( whereas if i send pictures of the default jpeg files in the phone, the 3650 can read them.

does anybody know why this happens? i badly need help. :(

Maybe your S700i is set up to capture a picture at 1280 x 960 size and maybe your Nok 3650 can't open it because the file is too large. Try lowering the picture size to 320 x 240 or even lower... :)

what i tried to send was a 640x480, and picture sizes lower than that and i've tried sending them to a 7650 and a 3650... but they still can't open the image files.

I tried sending the same pictures to a 6230 and a 7200 and they were able to open the file, so i guess it works with the later models :) thanks anyway. :)

but my new problem is ... the limited messaging!! arrrgh it's starting to become a problem for me. i save a lot of important messages and having use a 7610 before this s700i, i was able to save a lot. but now, i've to be conscious about reaching the 100message limit.. this is SAAAAD. and irky for me.
