Michael (or anyone who knows for that matter,
I just read in this article (http://www.3g.co.uk/PR/July2003/5645.htm) that "AT&T Wireless announced in June that 93% of their cell sites are EDGE-equipped." So, if I was to buy a 6600 or some other EDGE enabled phone could I use it for high-speed internet access on AT&T. AT&T only mentions GPRS on their website, but I also saw that the first EDGE data call was made on the AT&T network. What's the deal with EDGE? Do you think AT&T will start selling EDGE phones and PC cards soon? Also, it seems that Nokia is including EDGE in all of its new phones. Are there any other EDGE phones coming out soon?
