I think this figure is too high. Nokia recently reported shipments of 15m Series 60 phones. Conceivably, the 6600 is the best seller among these, but don't think that it took 2/3 of the market.

Just look at the series 60 phones: (15 million)

available; 7650, N-gage, N-gage QD, 3650/3660, 6600, 6620, 7610,
and just available: 6670, 6260
and not yet available; 3230, 6630

So 15 million, devided over 5 types:

N-gage and N-gage QD are about: 1.5 million
7650: around 3 million
3650/3660: around 2 million
7610; around 2 million (they are very happy about the sales)
6670 and 6260: around 1 million
6600: the rest so: 5.5 million...

If the 15 million series 60 devices are only Nokia's.
There are other series 60 devices from Siemens SX1, Sendo X, Samsung D710, Panasonic X700...
PS; these are not official ciffres, just a guess...

i dont think that many 6670 and 6260 were sold.. and i doubt that 2mil 7610 were sold. the 6600 was out quadriple the time the 7610 was... so id expect the 7610 to me not more than a quarter of the 6600 sales..
