what is a better phone.. Nokia 7600 or Sony ericsson k700i....
I just want a good phone that has great reception and loud sound when hearing the person on the other end, and wouldn't mind a good video camera phone and a phone that stores a lot of sms'.....
Shaheen the 7600 is for sale at a store now for 299 is that cheap or really cheap?? Who ever else lives in australia also..
would you chose the 7600 over k700i?

From what i've experience, 7600's keypad really takes time to get used to.

ive always wanted to try a 7600.. i really like the shape of that phone..
anyway, i think you should take the k700i.. its been released almost a year after the 7600 so it must have slightly extra features..
The reception is not as good as nokia's but its still pretty good, the screen will be alot better, and u wont need two hands to use it..

Thanks everyone. hey comm what is a 3g phone? at this store I want to buy this phone is says, Videotalk is not available with this handset.
I thought nokia's have the best reception, that is what I am really after a phone that has excellent reception and great video and holds more than 20 sms' like my v600. i don't find the motorola v600 to have great reception and am always using my old nokia, because it has better reception...
Zalameh, have you really owned that many phones, oh my god!!! Do you find that, sony's reception isn't as good as nokia?
Thanks everyone I appreciate your help!!! Very much soon.
Thanks once again COMM!!

I've got a 7600 and i can say that apart from getting used to the keypad this phone's pretty good. I've stored 128 SMSs in the inbox as well as many in other folders and the inbox literally opened instantly, absolutely no delay! The reception on this phone is pretty good, i've compared it on 3 with my Motorola A835 on the floor of my room, the Nokia could always hold onto the weak 3G signal and receive calls while the Motorola kept dropping out.
Also the camera's not too bad as far as cameraphones go, video recording's pretty crap but i havent seen a phone that i can say records video well!

Our phones, GSMs, GPRS and stuffs were only capable of transferring data at a maximum speed of 128kbps, only by obtaining speeds of at least 384kbps then only we can stream video at real time, thats why it is called video call. And therefore any phones that are capable of doing this (which in turn is another way of communication in comparison to talking) are regarded as 3rd generation phones and thus 3G.

yup.. thats all the phones ive bought with my hard earned money since FEB 2003.. but some of them i bought and i havent really used (eg Nokia 3200) then sold them off..
anyway, when i had my k700i, i never had a steady signal, and its always around half way.. but with my 6230 and 7610, the signal is always full or one bar down...

So you get a phone then resell it? Do you actually make a profit like that? I mean once a phone's used it wont sell for that much, or will it?!

7600 records video at 15fps, which is considered the best for a phone.
