Sx1 battery last only a day!!! is this normal?

hi there,

i have a Siemens SX1 as u know it is a stunning set but one thing irritate me that is its standby time is only a day or even less with 5-7 calls a day ,half an hour of Fm radio,half an hour of real or mp3 audio songs,little bit of gaming ,5-6 pictures from the cam and thats it pooof battery is gone.

i have its genuine 16mb mmc installed
and my software version is :

12012004
Appl Sw:12.2_06

so plz tell me is this normal standby time or i need a software upgrade.

was the first charge for your phone a long one, because its meant to be. Around 8 hours plus for first charge..subsequent charges should be about 1hour or less...


I think thats all the phone can take. considering my 7610 battery, after doing what you have been doing, i think it would die on me....5-7 calls, 1 hour of mp3, games, picture takin...yeah...

My bro used it for abt 2 month before giving it to me ,he has a routine for charging any mobile after every day.


wat abt software version , does it effects the standby time?

dude, I don't think that's normal. My batt lasts 3-4 days.

How's your signal strength btw? If it's extremely low your battery life just gets sucked out.
