I have recently purchased a S65 here in the US. I love the phone and it solves the number one problem I had with my SE T610, reception quality. But the number one reason I chose the S65 is that it offered GPRS and Bluetooth. I consistenly use my T610 to provide GPRS internet access for my laptop.

When I went to set up my S65 and input the DNS IP in the HTTP profile I discovered that it won't (as far as I can tell) support the ip I have from Tmobile.

The ip is: 216.155.165.50 and as you can see the last octet is only two digits. On the S65 each octet is filled with three zeros and I can't find a way to only input two digits.

The odd thing is that on the profile setup for the WAP browser it accepts this IP just fine, but for the HTTP profile is already populated with 000.000.000.000 and there is no way to delete a digit.

I have called Siemens tech support and they don't support the phone in the US. I called the UK but since their number is a pay number my phone here in the US won't connect. I emailed support in the US and got the we don't support it response. So then emailed support in the UK; no response. So I then created a uk yahoo email address and tried the UK email support again, still no response.

I am very frustrated as I love the phone, I just need to figure out how to get GRPS working so I can take advantage of the features I bought it for.

Any help you can provide is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you,

Alex
