will the nokia 6255 flip phone be available in the UK???
it is a Dual-Band CDMA 800/1900

It won't, you just answered your own question.

UK uses GSM not CDMA (America only).

btw, 6255 is already BT approved, so it should be out soon, and there are couple of variants, something to do with CDMA...

that phone sounded like it was going to be a great phone when it was announced at the start of the year...
now it doesnt look that good anymore.

Yeah but its a CDMA phone so it doesnt matter anyway and at this point there is no sign of GSM variant being released.

Isn't 6170 the closest you can get without having the exact same design!

No they are quite different, the 6170 has no mp3player or radio and it doesnt have bluetooth either, all of which the 6255 has.
