X700 release date

X700 will be release on Mid-End Nov.

Thanks for the heads up. That makes it about 9 months from announcement to launch.

If I remember, initial details were so scant due to a pisspoor PR department at Panasonic that it appeared only to have a low resolution screen, but it could be that the X700 is better than most people expect. I don't know... but I would like to see a truly decent product come out of the Panasonic factory for once.

Yeah but once again the problem is that they havent really marketed the phone well.

They seem to be relying on word of mouth to sell their products, which isnt going to get them very successfull figures.

the x700 was always said to be released late Q3. so Q4 wasnt a big surprise and definitely not nine months too late.

I think the X700 might have great potential. I guess we'll have to wait and see though.

Can't wait for this. i wanna know if it's worth sacrificing the radio (in 6260) for its size and design...hope the price would be much lower too

Dont really have any interest in this phone and haven't been folloiwng it, but it seems like ive been hearing little things about it forever

Yeah the rumours have been around for a while but only recently has the release date become official.
