7610 Dual Sim adaptor

Can any of you 7610 owners answer me this question?

I am deffinatley going back to series 60, and i would really like to buy a Nokia 7610 but the phone i buy must have the facility to take 2 sim cards,

1) does anyone use a dual sim adaptor and how reliable are they?

2) does anyone know of or have a dual sim adaptor for the 7610?

i imagine that one of the dual adaptors that are already out will work but it all depends on the positioning of the original sim card :confused:

I only just started seeing Nokia 6600 Dual Sim Adaptors floating around Ebay.com.au

Maybe its only a matter of time, before there is one for the Nokia 7610?

(NB: I thought Symbian phones weren't compatible with Dual Sim Adaptors)

I'm using a dual sim in my Siemens sx1 without any problems...Had it a couple of years now and been swapping it between different makes of phones without any problems.

Yes there is but.... you have to cut the chips out of both sim cards and postion them into the ghost.

i dont want to perform that kind of Surgery :eek:

i'm selling these on eBay also and i can say its not as scary as it sounds. I practiced on a Telstra smart phone card before cutting my SIM cards and as long as your scissors are sharp there's nothing to worry about. Since there are only 6 contacts on the SIM card that are needed the others are redundant so cutting them off does not affect the SIM card. If you later want to use the SIM card in a phone normally, you put it into the resume card and then you use it like a normal SIM card.

cant have that as itll void my contract if i break the sim...unless i say i lost it...anyway ghost sim not a priority atm...what is is that flash accessory which still is not available! grrr!

You wont break your sim if you follow the very simple instructions.I've cut up half a dozen sims and had no problems.

this is kinda tricky for me because i have a work phone and my own pone.
my work one is on Vodafone UK and is free for me to use at any time for as long as i want but it does not have GPRS enabled. my own one has GPRS and i get 500 texts, 125 mms and 1500 off peak mins a month.

if i cut up my work sim card and buggered it up i dont think my boss would like it :D
