wondering for GD-88/87

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has figured out if it's possible to have the GD-88 automatically answer a phone call or hang up on a call when I open or close the phone? I know there is an autoanswer function in the phone...but no matter if I have that turned on or off...i still can't answer a phone call by opening the phone. I know this is an old phone but if you've had this phone or still do...maybe you can help me. Thx everyone.

Hey Evoknight! I have had the Panasonic GD87 (which is the same as the GD88) and there is no way that you can set a call to be answered by opening the phone, and cancelling a call by closing it either! Sorry about that! I am just about to get a new phone Samsung D500 when its out, but my Panasonic has been very relaible! Hope this is of some help!
