Mobile-Review says the MP3 playback of the 6260 is MONO, but a couple of you guys who has the 6260 is claiming it is STEREO, I have posted a couple of times and gave an MP3 testing files, and so did another guy, (& I'm attaching it again below) but still no conclusive evidences were given...
I think I am not alone that wants to conclude this matter and move on, but it has to be answered 1st:
DOES 6260 MP3 PLAYBACK PLAYS IN STEREO OR MONO IF A 3RD PARTY MP3 APPS THAT SUPPORTS STEREO IS USED??? IF IT DOES, KINDLY PROVIDE PROOF, AND TELL US WHAT APPLICATION WAS USED... AND IF IT IS MONO, THEN SO BE IT...
note: m not shouting, just emphasizing... cheers!

definitely it needs to be answered cause me myself.. im really confused. i just hope it is stereo cause thats what im looking for
i visited a couple of forums and sites and most of them say that the output on the 6260 is stereo.....i think someone on this forum sent a mail to nokia regarding the output and they said that its stereo....
one more thing , all the previous nokia smartphones like the 7610 and the 6600 having mono output had only the real player to play music files while the only phone having stereo output ie the n-gage had a separate mp3 player and same is the case with the 6260...
so i believe the 6260 is stereo....

Testing Results: (Without third party software)
You can hear the left-channel tone perfectly and loudly with both channels. But you hear very very very low voice of the right-channel. So What does that mean?

^ hat means it is MONO, sorry to hear that... you should hear the female voice that says "left channel" should be coming out at the left only, and vice-versa, for it to be a TRUE-STEREO

I tried the tests with MP3Player version 3.00 (the newest) .. you can hear the voices both channels :( .. so it's MONO MP3 .. but STEREO FM.
