I must say the phone is pretty cool, here are some pos's and cons of the 6260, you can call it a very small mini review:
Pos's:
- The phone looks very nice and cool.
- IT DOES HAVE STEREO OUTPUT. The FM radio has a great sound quality including the MP3 music!
- The video recording time is NOT 12 secs like the 6600, it's more than that maybe 3 to 10 mins like the 7610.
Cons:
- You can't set the MMC as your default message storage/storer. People will notice that when they try to go to Menu --> Messages --> Settings --> Others.
- It's not comfortable when you want to dial numbers and delete them using the C or browse the menu with one hand, you may have to use your 2 hands. Well you will get used to it in couple of weeks I guess.
Seems that I will forget about the Communicator forever :p :o oh well.

thats really expensive..
when my mum was looking for it in dubai, she saw some places selling it for ~NZ$710 ... so it will be even cheaper for AUS$..
also when it comes out in singapore in a week or so, it will also be ~NZ$710..

congrats ahmad,
but man, you went from 9500 to 6260  ...if i were you i would have waited for the 6630, maybe it's not as pleasant looking as the 6260, but it packs quiet the punch that makes other phones prehistoric!
mabrook anyways, and blessed ramadan! :)

Well after using a 6600, i dont really mind the size of the phone, its all about the functionality.

Guys trust me after 4 days with this baby you will forget the 6600 and all the others i bought it 3-4 days ago for 400 euro and i couldnt get used to the phones keypad and now i fly through the phone, its worth every penny trust me the price is good and low and the phone has a lot of great functions (i have owned all nokia smartphones from 7650 -7610) i have loved the 6600 and now its this beauty) 1>The phones bluetooth and infrared are locked to send sis/jar/midi files but with the mobiluck or networker app its not a problem its breaks the lock 2>I have bought a 512mb rs mmc(since the phone comes with only 32mb and no adapter(how silly) for the phone and i have loaded loads of apps on the phone(almost 150mb) all of them work properly except for fs caller and all camera apps since the camera on this phone is placed on the side. All psiloc apps work great 3>The phone is out only is silver so far no one has seen or got a black one yet (silver is more classy to my taste) 4>A memory card reader is a must if you want this phone i had to load some program that were more than 4-5 mb (like the slovo ed dictionary or route 66 through the memory card reader 5>Photos are similar to the 6600 but on the screen the 6260 looks like it has a 100000 color screen as to comparison to the 6600 6>the phones radio is the bomb nice/clear crisp sound..its great 7>The size is no problem who knows of a mini sized smartphone anyway, when the screen is this size then dont ask for a nokia 8210 sized phone,if the size is a problem then go for a 6230 but you will have no extra functions this phone is for smartphone users only not a mini sized phone lover ...any questions people dont hesitate to ask

The phones bluetooth and infrared are locked to send sis/jar/midi files but with the mobiluck or networker app its not a problem its breaks the lock
Dude, here's a silly question, but can you send picture files and mp3 files using bluetooth or infrared on the 6260?

Dude, here's a silly question, but can you send picture files and mp3 files using bluetooth or infrared on the 6260? Its not a silly question you never know, yes you can send all the other files without any restrictions..the hot swap rs mmc slot is also a very smart idea (removing the rs mmc while the phone is on) also the 6260 takes a thinner battery than the 6600

it's a little wider than the 6600, it's also the smallest 3G phone ever. I liked the shape and size of the 6600, if you think it's big, then you won't like the 6630.

Hey a7mad, I think i can solve your Messages on the MMC problem. I used this little upgrade to store messages on my memory card with the SX1. This file is in .sis format. you install it and everything like a normal program. when the installation is over, just open the program. The screen will become idle for 10-20 seconds, and then everything comes back to normal. Now your messages can be stored on the memory card. to remove this function, just uninstall the program. See the only reason nokia made it not possible for you to store messages on the memory card is because of the hot-swappable thing. imagine what would happen if u removed your MMC and a message is received... get th point. just dont open ur mailbox when you removed the memory card. and dont worry, if you do, the phone will automatically store the messages on the phone memory, same thing will happen if u receive a message, just dont worry.
have fun , congrats, and have a blessful Ramadan
P.S.this program is free, one of the guys in mobile4arab designed it, plz dont ban me for this, it isnt cracked or stolen or w/e.

now m confussed, 1 guy claim it is NOT STEREO
can you try to do this test, play these left and right channels MP3 files, it should do the trick, if you play the left channel you should only hear from the left and vice-versa, tia

Thanks for the program. I guess then that's the reason why you can't set to save messeges to ur MMC card. Thanks :)

hey, yeah, where do you save it? rs mmc or phone mem? thanks!
-another stupid question, can you use mp3 as your message alert?
-does the led blink regularly? or only when it's charged? please describe its function! might get the phone anytime soon! :)
Ahmad007

Mondo here are the answers to your questions:
- Yes, you can set MP3 music as messege alert, because you can set them as ringtones, so by default you can also set them as messege alert.
- The LED blinks when you try to charge the phone, and also blinks when you receive a call.

man, i have an advertising paper produced by Nokia and it says that the phone has got: Stereo fm radio & mono mp3 player. i think thats clear. you dont have to do a test. anyways you can try and proof it. ;)

Is it true that when you put it the phone in Camcorder form, that the pictures are only at 480 x 320...I read that in a review. Also, is the hinge kind of weak, and Pop-port cable kinda loose?
